You are having an IT problem and need to submit a ticket to Digihost so we can resolve it for you. You get to the correct page to submit your ticket, but there are several options of ‘departments’ to choose from and you pause – which one do you choose for the ticket you want to submit? Here we discuss the various support departments we offer and what types of issues they deal with.
A)Hosting Support
-This department deals with any queries or problems regarding hosting of your website and domain. Some subsections include, but are not limited to:
•Parking your domain name
•General IT issues such as internet being down
B)Email Support
-This department deals with any queries or problems surrounding email. Some subsections include, but are not limited to:
•Setting up an email account for your domain
C)Hardware Support
-This department deals with any queries or problems surrounding the hardware you use and/or have purchased from us. Some subsections include, but are not limited to:
•Your screen is cracked/not switching on
•Your box is making strange noises
•Something has blown (e.g. power supply or CPU)
D)Security Support
-This department deals with any queries or problems relating to your website security. Some subsections include, but are not limited to:
•Firewalls or web filtering software
•Anti-virus issues
•You have been hacked/think you have been hacked and need assistance
E)Sales Support
-This department is pretty self-explanatory; it deals with anything and everything related to sales. Some subsections include, but are not limited to:
•You bought/want to buy something and there is an issue with your order
•You ordered something but it has not yet been delivered
•You want to check up on your delivery time or track your delivery
F)Account Support
-This department deals with any queries or problems involving your account. Some subsections include, but are not limited to:
•You want to upgrade something
•You want to change your details
•You want to add/remove a contact person
G)Report Abuse
-This department deals with most abuse queries or problems. Some subsections can include, but are not limited to:
•Someone on your network is abusing their privileges and you need to find out details
•Someone on your network is abusing their privileges and you need to block them or edit their privileges
H)Technical Abuse
-This department deals specifically with technical abuse problems. Some subsections include, but are not limited to:
•Unauthorised website access by employees – e.g. Facebook web surfing
